I have been creative in one form or another all my life but have been lucky enough to concentrate on full time painting for many years. Pastel remains a favourite medium with watercolour a strong second, but my latest experimentation and study in acrylic painting has proved an exciting challenge. The wonder of colour, both intense and delicate, has always stimulated my senses and charged my creative urges.
I owned and managed my own gallery some years ago and have taught art both professionally and privately. Writing is another love and my children's books have been published and distributed world wide.
My paintings have sold at numerous art shows and at solo and shared exhibitions over many years, and I have won a number of awards. My works hang in private collections throughout Australia, Japan, USA, New Zealand and Denmark. I am a member of three art societies, the Australian Guild of Realist Artists; a member of the Mitchell Shire Arts & Culture Advisory Committee, and a committee member of the Kilmore Art Expo.
I feel very fortunate that I am able to create work that others can appreciate and enjoy.
